Use a Photograph?
In the past, I have been appreciative of a direct email requesting the use of any photographs featured on this blog, whether it be for commerical or non-commerical purposes. So please feel free to email me at the address below, with details and the intended use and I will be happy to consider your request.

Advertise?
As you can see I don’t advertise on this blog. I do however feature random products which have caught my eye, because I find novel or tasty items hard to resist. In the past I have appreciated a direct email requesting I write about any products, and am happy to consider all requests. I will write about a product if I have enough information about the company and their range and if I feel their product is something I would have found appealing had I come across it on my own. I cannot guarantee all products sent to me will be featured and whether self-sourced or not will be written in a positive light. I will however be fair and honest and will disclose if the products were self-sourced or not.

Have a yarn?
I love receiving feedback and comments on my posts. So yes, leave a comment or send me an email.

Hi there, I’m in Sydney and have an amateur food blog too, albeit most of the posts are friends-only for now!

Just wanted to say that I think the photos you took are spectacular. I use a cheap digicam and it shows ;) Would you mind leeting me know what digicam you have? i’m in the market to get a new one - it’s about time, methinks!!
    Thanks heaps :)

hey I just read the part of the blog where you are interested in finding one of those egg rest things. House in Parramatta sells them, they are made by maxwell and williams. I tried looking for it in their website for a picture but I can’t find it. It does only come in white and it sits six eggs in it.

Beverly: Thanks! I use a cheapie digital camera too. Only 3.2 mega pixels, but it is fine for regular photos. It’s an Olympus, point and shoot. I prefer taking photographs in natural light using the macro feature, so perhaps give that a go.

Sally: Thanks for the tip. I’ll check it out :)

    Hi Deborah,

I got the Kitchen Aid at Peters of Kensington. They’re about $30 less than RRP, so it was $629 I think. They have the best range of colours. And if you get it now there’s a three piece cookware redemption from Kitchenaid. Three really nice heavy backing tins which they send you (at their postage cost) when you register the product.

You won’t regret it. Also the women who work at Peter’s really know their product and are very helpful.

Go to www.kitchenaid.com.au for all stockists.

Go on, do it, do it.

Love your bread and cheese photo.

    K

    Hi Deborah
It’s a great blog! I’m about to visit Sydney and am looking for interesting neighbourhoods with great food shops that are not on the usual tourist itinerary – your blog has given me some good leads – can you suggest any more?

    Many thanks
    Jake
